Creative teenagers across New York State have an opportunity to put their artistic skills to work for an important cause. The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) is inviting young people to participate in its Traffic Safety Poster Challenge, an initiative designed to help raise awareness about safe driving among younger drivers.

Participants are encouraged to create and submit original traffic safety artwork that communicates an important message about staying safe on the road. The challenge gives students the chance to use their creativity to influence other young drivers and help make traffic safety a topic their peers will notice, remember, and talk about.

The big incentive for participating… the selected artwork could appear on a billboard displayed throughout New York State. Participants may also have the opportunity to win a THINKFAST interactive traffic safety presentation for their school. It’s a unique chance for young artists to see their work displayed publicly while helping promote safer choices behind the wheel. See the flyer below.
