Livingston County Has New Drug Recognition Expert

On June 19, 2018, several members of the Sheriff’s Office traveled to Batavia, NY to attend the graduation of Deputy Matthew Thomas from Drug Recognition Expert school.

Deputy Thomas spent the last three weeks attending this elite training to earn his expert status regarding drug evaluations.
Livingston County now has eight Drug Recognition Experts ( 7 at our Office and 1 at Geneseo PD) in effort to remove impaired drivers off our roadways and make our roadways safer.
