The Victim Impact Panel (English VIP) meets on the second Tuesday of each month and is held in the auditorium at the Rockland County Fire Training Center located at 35 Firemen’s Memorial Drive Pomona, New York 10970. Spanish VIP is held every other month on the last Tuesday of that month.
Doors open at 5:45pm for check-in. Sessions begin promptly at 6:30pm. The program will run for approximately two hours. All attendees will be tested for alcohol use by a Sheriff’s Deputy. If you test positive, you will not be allowed to enter. If you are denied entry, the STOP DWI Office will notify the referring court and/or probation. There is a $80.00 charge to attend this program. Only cash or money orders (payable to Rockland County STOP-DWI) will be accepted as payment.

Rockland County STOP-DWI / VIP Law Enforcement Consultants:
Our program has a cadre of active and retired police officers with vast experience in the area of impaired driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. These consultants are available on request to speak to our community. Emphasis is on education our youth, and school sessions are the most common forum for our education consultants. New York’s STOP-DWI program is the Nations’ first and, to date, only self-sustaining impaired driving program. Other States have implemented components of self-sufficiency, but none to the degree of New York State.
