NYS STOP-DWI was delighted to partner with the automobile racetrack, Watkins Glen International (WGI) (also known as “The Glen”) for “A Ride to Prom.” The goal of this partnership was to encourage safe travel for the Watkins Glen High School prom event in the area.

Students who purchased 2023 prom tickets were entered to win some exciting prizes. Prizes included a round trip to and from prom in a WGI pace car and dinner for two at the Harbor Hotel. Lucky students would also get a chance to get their photos posted to the WGI social media channels to promote NYS STOP-DWI initiatives for safe and sober driving.

The president of WGI, Michael Printup and the Watkins Glen High School principal, Kyle Colunio had wonderful things to say about this special partnership with NYS STOP-DWI to offer this VIP prom experience.
