The Institute for Traffic Safety Management & Research (ITSMR) is a not-for-profit, research center that is dedicated to improving highway safety. The organization offers services to local, state, and national agencies that also have a shared goal of reducing automobile crashes, fatalities, and injuries.

In 2023, ITSMR celebrates 45 years of supporting the highway safety community. Along with the celebration, the organization has rebranded and launched a new website.

NYS STOP-DWI and ITSMR have enjoyed years of partnership and collaboration. We salute the organization and the individuals there who aim to make New York’s roadways safe for all.
