Allegany County STOP-DWI Program Hosts Emotional, Compelling Mock Crash

Allegany County STOP DWI Mock Crash

The Allegany County STOP-DWI program held a mock crash exercise at Genesee Valley Central School. Mock crashes are meant to be a learning exercise to drive home the seriousness of vehicular incidents, especially when they involve driving under the influence.

Participating in the mock crash were students from the Genesee Valley Central School, as well as the county sheriff’s office, fire and rescue, and ambulance services.

Students from both the Genesee Valley Central School and Scio Central School were spectators of this emotionally powerful event.

Watch the YouTube video and hear from the mock crash participants as they explain how the event affected them.
