The Orange County Victim Impact Panel

Held on the third Thursday of every month at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 110 Wells Farm Road, Goshen, NY. Spanish speaking Victim Impact Panels are indicated, time and location are the same. 

ORANGE COUNTY VICTIM IMPACT PANEL – 2024 SCHEDULE
The Victim Impact Panel meets on the third Thursday of each month and is held at the
Orange County Sheriff Office, located at 110 Wells Farm Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
Registration begins at 6:30pm and the program ends by 8:30 pm. Spanish VIP is held quarterly; the time and location are the same.
The fee for each of our programs is $60.00 – cash only

STOP DWI Mid-Hudson Region, made up of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties held the 2024 DWI Conference and Awards Luncheon. Over 400 LEO officers were in attendance. Each county recognized their top cops, troopers, and deputies for their efforts in combating Impaired Driving.

John E. Jones and Lauren Savino partner with many county school districts to bring speakers and education to students throughout Orange County.

Orange County STOP DWI co-host the county early Crime Victim’s Week Vigil. They partner with Orange County Probation and NYSP to host it in different locations throughout the county. Crime Victim’s Week is a weeklong initiative promotes victims’ rights and honors crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.

Orange County STOP DWI attend many community events throughout the year to bring awareness and education regarding drunk and drugged driving. Pictured below is a few community events attended.

Orange County STOP DWI Educator Lauren Savino co-coordinates the Red Ribbon Week for the county with the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County Prevention Coordinator MaryAlice Kovatch. They team up with local law enforcement and elected officials to bring the event to life. and Red Ribbon Week takes place each year from October 23 through 31st. It is the largest drug prevention campaign in the county.

New York’s STOP-DWI program is the Nations’ first and, to date, only self-sustaining impaired driving program. Other States have implemented components of self-sufficiency, but none to the degree of New York State.
