The Lewis Henry Morgan Institute’s One Second Exhibit Series explores the stories of crash victims across New York State. These forensic-style exhibits focus on high-risk factors such as: the combination of driving and alcohol and/or drug use, excessive speed, and distractions, such as phone use and texting while driving.

Each year MADD New York and New York STOP-DWI host a recognition awards luncheon as a "Thank You" to law enforcement and all community members who work tirelessly to keep our NY roads safe from impaired drivers and also to those who work to prevent underage drinking.

March 28, 2015 has been designated as "STOP-DWI Night" in Glens Falls with the Adirondack Flames (AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames) in their game with the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers). Saratoga County has scheduled a "STOP-DWI" game at 2:00 p.m.

Franklin County STOP-DWI participated in the Franklin County Traffic Safety's snowmobile checkpoint in the Town of Franklin and the Town of Tupper Lake over the past two weekends. Also participating in the detail was New York State Forest Rangers & Encon Police, Franklin County Sheriff's Department, Tupper Lake Police and State Police Malone.
