On Saturday, December 8, 2007, Monroe County STOP-DWI program/ Rochester Against Intoxicated Driving (RAID) co- sponsored the 2007 "Lights on for Life" Motorcade. The event was a great success, with the District Attorney Mike Green, Public Safety Director- Steve Bowman, Administrator of Probation and Correctional Alternatives-Bob Burns all present to support the event. There were volunteers such as victims', volunteer ambulances, police agencies, pharmacy's, etc. Over forty vehicles participated in the motorcade which did a half circle on the Inner Loop then proceeded down East Main Street to West Main Street. Brief remarks and refreshments were available at the end. Refreshments were donated by many local businesses. Both ABC and NBC covered the motorcade which aired multiple times on the Saturday evening news. There was an announcement of the STOP-DWI Crackdown Weekends which begins December 15.

Monroe County STOP-DWI Program hosted the 2007 Victim Impact Panel Appreciation dinner. Over sixty "certificates of appreciation" were presented to local victims', police&probation officers and volunteers who support the VIP during the past year.
