This is the most recent graduating class of DRE's in Monroe County. This is the third class that Monroe County has hosted. This picture was taken at the graduation ceremony on September 10, 2007. Eighteen officers in the graduating class were representatives from around the State. This was a popluar training and had a great deal of support from the Monroe County Director of Public Safety, Steve Bowman. There were several people present to see the graduates recieve their certificates and pins and new Drug Recognition Experts.

The Monroe County STOP-DWI Program hosted the 2007 Safe and Sober/STOP-DWI Crackdown weekends press conference on Friday August 31, 2007. The 10 AM event was hosted at the Public Safety Building. Present were County Executive Maggie Brooks (at the podium) as well as Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn, District Attorney Mike Green, Public Safety Director Steve Bowman and six local Police Chief's. The 11 agencies involved in the crackdown did a fine job.
